Training of All-Fish Food Processing as a Tourist Attraction at Carocok Tourism Object Painan Pesisir Selatan
Pelatihan Pengolahan Makanan Serba Ikan sebagai Daya Tarik Wisatawan Objek Wisata Carocok Painan Pesisir Selatan
Abstract
Pesisir Selatan an area where there are many marine products. So far, not many seafood products are processed into various foods, especially local specialties in Painan, especially IV Jurai District. This is due to the lack of knowledge of the community or small traders in IV Jurai Subdistrict in food processing. Thus it is necessary to hold training and guidance for the surrounding community in terms of processing food. From various directions tourists come to visit, but the food served does not reflect the seafood. To overcome this problem, the solution offered is to provide knowledge in the field of food (materials, hygiene and sanitation, business management) with the lecture method and the presentation of pictures related to themes and skills with demonstration and training methods to small merchant partner groups in the IV Jurai, especially the skills to process various types of processed seafood from competitive marine products, with the target audience being able to make good use of their free time, which in turn can be used as a household business to improve the family economy.
